Do something extraordinary! Help change the life of a child by becoming a CASA volunteer or donating to the organization!
Friends of CASA is a network of people who are touched by the challenges abused and neglected children face but are conflicted about the real time they have to devote to helping. It needn’t be an all or nothing proposition!! Friends of CASA is a chance to put your compassion into action but do so on your own terms, in times and situations that are convenient to you, comfortable for you, and realistic for your schedule.
· Be an Ambassador, part of a networking gateway to reaching others. (select training classes required)
o Help create and build a network to reach others
o Forward emails, post of your facebook page, etc
o Host a “friend-raiser” party!
· Be a Resource Building Volunteer, participating in activities that help us raise funds
o Participate on the fundraising event planning committee of the organization
o Organize your friends and co-workers to donate gifts for CASA children for the holidays
o Host an event to raise money for CASA
o Donate-sponsor a child with your contribution (and receive anonymous correspondence from a CASA child) or provide support for holiday gifts
· Be a part of the Advocate Support Team, assisting a CASA volunteer (CASA volunteer training required)
o Help a CASA volunteer who does not drive with transportation
o Partner with a CASA volunteer to get the advocacy work done
o Help the organization run smoothly
§ Office work/data entry/ administrative activities
· Share your expertise- i.e.: Information technology expertise and Website updating/maintenance are greatly needed
